My daughter Negar first encountered Sohrab Sepehri’s poetry in a textbook, and it deeply influenced her art. Her love for Joan Miró’s paintings led her to Barcelona and then to the U.S., where she studied Japanese painting under Andy Chen. Her work blends Japanese techniques with an Iranian poetic worldview.
