Spaces
Rischee29 is composed of three independent sections: Rhizome, Artwall, and Mirrorbox.
This tripartite structure enables flexibility in the modes of presentation and ways of engaging with the artwork, inviting audiences to a multi-layered experience.
The Art Wall
Artwall is the section of the collective most closely aligned with the format of “white cube” galleries. This space consists of a main hall and a showcase facing the garden. The presence of this showcase enables a visual interaction between the interior and exterior, allowing artists to move beyond the conventional isolation typically associated with art exhibitions.
Artwall is ideal for artists whose projects are defined within a focused space and require a dedicated environment for presentation and display. It also serves as an appropriate platform for showcasing alternative and experimental projects.

The Rhizome
Our main platform is called “Rhizome,”(Root) emphasizing its inherent meanings. Like a tree, roots are structured and have a center. Roots also have a genealogy. However, art is not unlike a “Rhizome,” which is decentralized and constantly disrupts structures. Unlike the tree’s hierarchical structure, a rhizome can root from anywhere and form something new. For this reason, we named the open space of the Rischee29 Art Gallery “Rhizome,” to allow new roots to form with every creative endeavor.
“Rhizome” is an ecosystem for the dialectic of ideas, ideas that take shape from the difference of signs and are inscribed in language.
Mirrorbox
The “Mirror Box” space is an enclosed room, essentially a black box, measuring twelve meters in length, two meters and thirty centimeters in width, and two meters in height. In this room, which resembles a small theater, the audience is placed in an isolated environment, directing their attention and focus to observing video-based works. The name “Mirror Box” comes from the exterior surface of its walls, which are entirely covered with smooth and polished mirrors, reflecting the exterior and making the room appear almost invisible within the open area of the Rischee29 Art Gallery.
